Minus Points:

The movie takes its own sweet time to get into the core of the story. The first half feels routine and might leave the audience bored. The scenes that showcase Raghava’s failure to fulfill his father’s dreams in the beginning leave a lot to be desired. The first half feels lengthy, and director Dhanraj should have focused on the first half’s screenplay.

Dhanraj’s love track doesn’t click and lacks appeal. Surprisingly, even Sathya’s comedy doesn’t evoke laughter. Prithvi is okay in certain scenes. His character lacks depth, and it could have been developed better.

Additionally, the songs don’t add much value to the movie. Even the background score fails to create the desired impact. Even though the climax is emotional, the way it is executed could have been more engaging.

Technical Features:

In his first picture, Dhanraj did a respectable job as a filmmaker, depicting the father-son relationship in a somewhat different manner than previous works. The realistic cinematography of Durga Prasad Kolli is remarkable. Arun Chiluveru’s background score performs a good job, even though his songs do not stand out. The production values are respectable.

Conclusion:

The audience is somewhat engaged by the emotional drama Ramam Raghavam. It is admirable that Dhanraj made an effort to depict the father-son relationship in a fresh way. The audience’s patience is tested, though, by the first half’s lack of engaging aspects and its sluggish pace in various spots.
