Over the last three days, domestic box office receipts for the Tollywood film starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have been on the decline. This follows a solid start and two days of excellent performance, particularly in the Telugu market.
According to media reports, Thandel, a high-octane action movie based on a real-life incident in 2018, chronicles the experience of a Srikakulam fisherman who was taken prisoner by Pakistani forces.
Day 6 Box Office Collection for Thandel
The Chandoo Mondeti-directed Telugu film brought in ₹2.6 crore net on Wednesday, a 27.78% decrease from Day 5’s revenues. This raises the total domestic box office receipts for the six days to ₹47.13 crore net. On February 7, the thrilling thriller debuted with an incredible ₹11.5 core net, but after the first weekend, its momentum waned. It reported a 20% decline in domestic collections on Tuesday, totaling ₹3.6 crore. The movie, which was produced by Geetha Arts, had an 18.26% Telugu occupancy rate on Wednesday. Telugu screenings are generating the greatest sales of Thandel, despite the fact that it is accessible in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu.
Thandel’s global box office receipts
Up to Day 5, Thandel made ₹52.15 crore in revenue from the home market and ₹10.25 crore from the international market. The 5-day global gross collection now stands at ₹62.40 crore.
