Netflix is now broadcasting the Tamil movie Irugapatru. In important parts in the film are Shraddha Srinath, Vikram Prabhu, Vidharth, Sri, Saniya Iyappan, and Abarnathi. Let us see how things stand.
The narrative
Mitra Manohar (Shraddha Srinath) is a psychologist and marriage counselor. She does her best to eliminate the inequalities between spouses, and her married life is joyful. Arjun (Sri) seeks Mitra’s advice because he and his wife, Divya (Saniya Iyappan), do not understand each other. However, Rangesh (Vidharth) is concerned about his wife Pavitra (Abarnathi) gaining weight over and over again. Pavitra was unable to control her hunger even after Rangesh urged her to reduce weight. Rangesh requests a divorce from Pavitra because his marriage is not working out. Shocked, Pavitra seeks a solution from Mitra. Suddenly, Mitra also begins to have problems with her husband, Manohar (played by Vikram Prabhu). The main point of the story is what transpired next.
Advantages:
Writing a screenplay for a movie of this genre is extremely difficult, but Yuvaraj Dhalayan has aced the test. With its masterfully crafted characters, scenarios, and conversation, the film offers a logical perspective on relationships. The way the movie is handled, everyone will feel a strong connection to it, not just couples.
Each of the three stories has a certain amount of significance. We are able to sympathize with the characters since each story has a strong conflict point. The remedies offered for such problems are reasonable and useful. The character development is excellent. In no time at all, we are transported into the world of Arjun, Mitra, and Rangesh.
In addition to being entertaining, the film is educational. It discusses topics like “Love Language,” which may be beneficial to a lot of people. To keep the audience amused, the director deftly interjected humor at several points. The director creates a great conflict point right when we think Mitra’s life is going well, which adds interest to the movie.
Bravo to Abarnathi, Saniya Iyappan, Vidharth, Sri, Vikram Prabhu, and Shraddha Srinath for their outstanding work. This movie is even more endearing because of the actors’ sincere and organic performances. The nice graphics and calming soundtrack are extras. Irugapatru is a great film to see with your family.

Minus Points :
There are moments when the tempo is a little slow, and some of the scenes could have been shorter. The tempo slows down a bit, particularly in the middle parts.
Given the genre of the movie, the duration could have also been shortened. Sometimes Irugapatru becomes a little predictable. Irugapatru may not be too much for the general public because it is a fun film.
Technical Features:
The film benefits greatly from Gokul Benoy’s images and Justin Prabhakaran’s catchy soundtrack. The quality of the production is too high. The editing is good. Special thanks should be given to the creators for creating such touching material.
Most couples can relate to the topic that director Yuvaraj Dhalayan has chosen. He did a fantastic job writing the conflicts and characterizations. With the exception of the film’s occasionally slow pacing, he did a fantastic job and is undoubtedly a talent to watch.
Conclusion:
Overall, Irugapatru is a sane perspective on relationships that combines pleasant feelings with clever comedy. With its straightforward style, it joins the ranks of humorous performers like Dada and Good Night. Irugapatru contains three storylines, each of which is equally significant. The film contains everything needed to appeal to a family audience, and the artists’ performances are amazing.
