Mumbai: A medium-power tremor hit Maharashtra’s Hingoli on Thursday morning. On the Richter scale, the estimated power of the quake was 4.5, the Public Place for Seismology (NCS) said in a tweet.
Taking to X, the Public Community for Seismology stated, “Quake of Magnitude: 4.5, Happened on 21-03-2024, 06:08:30 IST, Lat: 19.48 and Long: 77.30, Profundity: 10 km, Area: Hingoli, Maharashtra.“
Quake quakes were felt for ten seconds between 6 am and 8 am on Thursday in numerous areas of Nanded.

Recently, a low-power tremor hit Manipur. On the Richter scale, the force of the quake was estimated at 3.0, NCS said in a tweet.
Last week, two low-force seismic tremors hit Madhya Pradesh, one in Singrauli and one more in Seoni. On the Richter scale, the power of the tremors was estimated at 3.1 and 3.6, individually, the Public Place for Seismology said.
